Cheessy Prawn Recipe

Oshicare Cheessy Prawn Recipe


Ingredients:

1) 300gm Medium Size Prawn with shell intact
2) 1tablespoon Olive oil
2) 3cloves Garlic - chopped into small pieces (i called it 'rice garlic')
3) 3leaves Kaffir Lime Leave - thinly sliced (can get from wetmarket / homegrown)
4) 3slices Cheddar Cheese - 1 slice cut into 6.
5) 3teaspoon Sugar
6) 1/2 teaspoon Salt
6) 1lime Lime juice

Steps:

1) Heat wok with medium-hi fire. Put olive oil into hot wok and add-in rice garlic. Saute garlic till fragrant (slightly brownish).
2) Put in the cleaned prawn into the wok. Slightly stir fried it and add-in kaffir lime leaves and cover wok with lid for 1 minute.
3) Add in salt, sugar and lime juice. Slightly stir fried it again and cook for another 1 minute. When the prawn turned red. It shall considered cook. Served on the plate. Place the cheese over it. It will melt by itself over the hot prawn. Ready to serve.

Remember:
Do not stir fried the prawn vigorously in order to keep the head intact.

8 Zen Chicken Soup

Body Healing 8 Treasure Soup


How to cook this soup?

You need:

1 packet ready packed 8 Treasure Herbal

1/2 bird Chicken. Chopped into 8 pieces. Or 2 piece of quarter bird. Or 300gm lean pork.

1.5 liter hot water in slow cooker.

Here's the steps.

1. Put the herbal into slow cooker which has been filled with hot water. Let it simmer boiled for 1hr.

2. Then, add in the chicken pieces and boil it for another 15-20min.

Ready to serve.

Bear In Mind: Soup will look cloudy due to over boiling after add in the meat. Not advisable to boil meat for a long period of time to preserve the tastiness of the soup.

Char Koay Teow - Penang Famous Recipe

Penang Char Koay Teow
to serve 3 adult portion

Ingredients:
3 tablespoon cooking oil
3 cloves chopped garlic
2tablespoon chilli paste
150gm fresh prawn
some chinese wax sausage
3 pcs chicken / duck eggs
500gm koay teow
200gm beansprout
some chives
3teaspoon dark soya sauce
3teaspoon light soya sauce &
pinch of salt


Cooking guides:

1. Heat up the cooking wok with medium hi gas fire, pour the cooking oil into the hot wok. Add-in chopped garlic & chilli paste. saute till fragrant.

2. Eventually add-in fresh prawn, wax sausage and eggs. mix well.

3. Put in the koay teow, some dark soya sauce & light soya sauce. Stir-fry for 3min. or mix well.

4. Add-in beansprout, chives and stir-fry for another 3min.

5. Finally, add-in pinch of salt/ to taste, toss well. Ready to serve. Savour it while still warm.

Tips: Stir-fry food has high 'heat' content.
Advisable to drink with chinese herbal tea with cooling remedial.
