Black Vinegar Pork Leg Recipe

Black Vinegar Pork Leg by oshicare


Ingredients:
1 bottle Black Vinegar (ready mix)
2cm Old Ginger root
3cm Young Ginger root
1kg Pork Leg (chopped into 2cm a piece)
6 Chicken Eggs (boiled cooked)
5pcs Dried mushroom (halves and soak in water to soften)
20gm Rock sugar / to taste

Steps:
1. Pour black vinegar, ginger roots and mushrooms into slow cooker in Hi cooking. Simmer boil for 1min.
2. Put in clean washed pork leg. Let it boil for 20min in Hi cooking.
3. Put egg into it. Turn the switch to Low cooking for another 30min.
4. Pork should be tender at this point.
5. Added in rock sugar and simmer boil for another 10min. Ready to serve.

Additional tips:
1. It is best consumed during rainy day as black vinegar has hi heat content (after the brewing process).
2. Eat moderately.

Stewed Potato Chicken Recipe

Stewed Potato Chicken by oshicare


Ingredients:
1 whole bird Chicken (chopped into medium size pieces for stir friend purpose)
1 small can Green Peas Canned
2 pcs Big Potato cubed
1 pc Onion cubed
2 pcs Garlic (chopped into rice pieces)
2 tablespoon Cooking oil/peanut oil
250ml water
Pinch of salt
2teaspoon Soya Sauce

Steps:
1) Heat the wok and add in oil. Saute the riced garlic until fragrant over medium big fire.
2) Add in potatoes, stir fried for 3min. Add in cubed onion. Stir fried another 1 min.
3) Add in raw chicken pieces and stir fried for 3min. Cover the wok with lid for 5min. Add in 250ml water and pour in canned green peas, cover the lid again for stewing purpose. This process need another 15min of cooking.
4) By this time around, the chicken should be cooked and has fragrant smell of this dish. Add in 1/2 teaspoon of salt & soya sauce to taste. ready to serve.

Note:
You can always substitute whole bird chicken with just chicken breast or chicken drumsticks. Can get from local wet market chicken seller and ask them to chop to desire pieces. That's what i do all the time : P
